“元旦那”ニック・ラシェイのソロ・アルバム『ワッツ・レフト・オブ・ミー』がヒット中。ちょっと遅れて、ジェシカ・シンプソンが3年ぶり4枚目のフル・アルバム『A Public Affair（ア・パブリック・アフェア）』(EICP-664 2,520円(税込))を9月27日(写真のUS盤は8月29日)にリリースします。「A Public Affair」は、曲の中に自分の名前を入れることができる＆DRMなしのパーソナライズドMP3フォーマット（ヤフー、ジェシカ・シンプソンの楽曲をDRMフリーで提供 - CNET Japan）でYahooから販売されてたりもするわけですが、そんな彼女の4年ぶりのアルバムのリリースが決まりました。
このアルバムには、Dead Or Alive「You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)」のカヴァーも収録されるということなので、こちらも非常に楽しみですね！
