初のMac OS Xウイルスが発見された翌日の2月17日、今度はBluetoothで感染する新手のMac OS Xワームが報告された。昨日の「OSX／Leap-A」に続いて、「OSX/Inqtana.A」なるワームが報告されました。一夜明けて早速新たなワーム・・・。前回も今回も深刻なものではないようですが、非常に心配です。セキュリティ企業のF-Secureによると、「OSX/Inqtana.A」はMac OS X 10.4（Tiger）に感染するJavaベースのコンセプト実証型ワーム。昨年発見されたMac OS XのBluetoothに関する脆弱性を突いて拡散する。OS X 10.4の最新のセキュリティパッチを適用していれば感染は防げるという。

OSX/Inqtana.A is a Java based proof of concept bluetooth worm that affects OSX 10.4 (Tiger) systems that have not been patched against vulnerability CAN-2005-1333Inqtana.A has not been met in the wild and has internal counter that prevents it's operation after 24. February 2006. So it is unlikely that this variant would be a threat to Mac Users.
